just an average christian heterosexual bigot

From CNN news last evening.

V.P. of an Arkansas School: Clint McCance, elected politician, V.P. Arkansas school board, son, husband, father, christian, hater, and bigot.

Sounds like a typical average, American heterosexual citizen? Unfortunately this just might be the truth. His blog on face book certainly shows that his is the average, middle-age , heterosexual in America.

Vengeance is mine sayeth the Lord. Sometimes he makes good on that comment.

In that blog Mr. McCance advocates for gays, (fags, and faggots - as he references them) to be ridiculed, harassed, and even condones murder, by his very words. And celebrates their suicides.

Also he says his children will never be so perverted because they have been brought up "christian". I guess that kind of "therapy" only works for a select few "christians". I suppose the bigger the whip, the stronger the "therapy".

He stated that if one of his kids were to be gay, he would throw them out on the street, out of his life, and out of his "vicinity". This is what i call a good loving christian father, and can't help but wonder which member of the Christ family he is following - certainly does not sound like my old friend, Jesus. Of course there are so many versions of the bible out there, may have been one of those i have not read yet.

He has received hate mail, threatening phone calls, death threats, etc... He was so afraid for the safety of his family he had to send them away for fear they would be targeted and harmed.

Kinda hard to have any sympathy for him for that reason. This is the first of its kind for me. To see justice so rapidly dispensed, it gives me some hope for humanity after all.

"a taste of his own medicine" . To quote a mother of one of the recent young boys that committed suicide because he had to endure for years, what Mr. McCance only got a small taste of.

Yup, kinda hard to feel sorry for him. At least he resigned from his job, like a man. What a great gesture. Too little too late, i am afraid. He managed a half-assed apology on CNN and probably thinks that this will exonerate his behavior. The apology was for "choosing the wrong words to express himself". He certainly did not apologize for the sentiment of his blog.

Bigots never ( OK, rarely) change. I have known a few in the past that have seen the errors of their ways. But it is about time these haters start getting a little taste of what they are doling out so readily.

P.S. :: If you feel the need to criticize anything i might have written here, don't bother. As always, my comments are directed toward those "pseudo Christians". Not the 'true' Christians. The true Christians that i know, and defer to, do not believe that everything in the bible is in fact, fact. They do not harbor hatred for another person for any reason, do not pass judgment on others, do not advocate harm in any form, and love their children and families without conditions. I have known many Christian families that have homosexuals born into their families, and have accepted this phenomenon for what it is: a gift from God; as all children truly are.

Your comments are welcomed. But be sure to read my P.S. (postscript) above before criticizing my "attacks" on Christianity and/or all other organized religions.

Voted up and interesting, this level of bogotry and hate in our country is not acceptable, and if they get dished some of what they would gladly dish out to gays you wont see me crying about it. We would be better off without these fossils.

Thanks for taking time to read and comment. Bigots in politics seems to be the new theme this year with the GOP promising to destroy women's rights, and mandate discrimination against gays. Their plight to re-introduce prayers in schools and make Christianity the official religion of the U.S. is exactly what the Romans did when they created Christianity in the year 330 in order to control the masses through fear and intimidation.

I guess being a 'conservative' means setting equality and civil rights back to the stone age where ignorance and superstition ruled.
