Government Lobbyists Must Go! Another threat to democracy.

It is time for real change and progression into the future. OH, YES WE CAN.

LOBBYISTS: They are a total bane to our society - they certainly are not a benefit, or a friend to the American people.

These greedy people are still doing business as usual in Washington. They serve absolutely NO purpose to the American people. They represent big business and are a major cause of the political corruption in Washington.

They are there for one reason only: To buy their piece of the government at any price. They are the true servants of the corrupters: self-serving, and representative of all that is counter to an honest and open democratic government. They are there to bribe, coerce, and buy their favors, by paying our elected officials for their support. This evil corruptive force in our government is sanctioned by the government, and their power to influence those elected officials (of the people?) is boundless and shameless.

The public (you and I) should be told how much these politicians are being paid to turn their eyes in the other direction. It would be interesting to know how much money the "selling the souls of the government officials" to big business, is worth these days. A full disclosure of the names of those lobbyists, who they represent, and the amounts of ALL money given to government officials (and the names of those government officials who took this money) is essential to discover just who really owns the U.S. Government, how much it cost to buy it, and exactly who is included in the price.

Lets put America first in progressive change for once. Get rid of the lobbyists. Reign in the destructive behaviors of the corrupt politicians.

Get the lobbyists out of Washington and get their influence on our lives out American politics once and for all.

This should be right up there in priority along with stopping the infighting and filibustering (the use of extreme dilatory tactics in an attempt to delay or prevent action in a legislative assembly) and forcing the politicians to attend to the business of the people for a change. Lobbyists are totally counter productive to any beneficial governmental meaning in their duty of "serving' the America public. Politicians who take money from lobbyists, or anyone else, while being paid big money by our taxes, to represent us, is outrageous and should be banned. Anyone caught doing it should be fined and kicked out of their position.

Lets put America first in progressive change for once. We must stop this wallowing in the stale and stagnant conservative ideas of the past. We must take our government back from the wealthy and the greedy, and 're-create' a government we can be proud of once again. A government for the people, by the people; and set an example for the rest of the world. OH YES WE CAN!!
