The World/U.S. Census Speaks for Itself. A Change is Gonna Come - Like it or Not. (Equal Rights for Everyone)
62Under the Eye of God
World/U.S. census Speaks for Itself.
Conservatists are desperately fighting progress.
Change is gonna come. Like it or not.
There is no doubt about this title !!
Here is something the conservatives can not stop- unless of course they continue to condone the killing off of such enemies as abortion providers, homosexuals, Muslims, Jews, liberals and (now moving up a notch), "centrists".
Indisputable statistics:
Regarding US census:
Dec. 1990 US census totaled 248,709,873
Dec. 2000 US census totaled 281,421,906
Dec. 2010 US census totaled 308,745,538
Regarding world census:
Dec. 2010 World population 7,076,792,650
Dec. 2037 Projected world pop: 10,299,634,568
From USA today ticker tape readings:
Jan. 10, 2011 at 09:45am US. Population: 310,874,899
Jan. 10, 2011 at 09:55am US. Population: 311,864,860
It is estimated that the gay population is 1 out of 6.
As of this morning:
Jan. 10, 2011 at 09:45am US gay population: 185,991,280
Jan. 10, 2011 at 09:55am US gay population: 187,870,390
Jan. 10, 2011 at 09:45am World gay population: 424,607,559
These are formidable numbers that should be giving pause to the continuance of attempting to stifle, ignore, deny or try to push this number of people back into that proverbial "closet"; or to continue to deny equal rights to.
A total exercise in futility if there ever was one.
So, unless the conservatives, once again, try to eradicate their enemies, as their predecessors did (the original 3rd Reich), then get a grip on reality and go with the flow of the tides, time and inevitability.
The wheels of justice turn slow, and the continuance of negative rhetoric, hate speeches, bible thumping and sticking of heads in the sand, need to come to an abrupt halt.
There are lots of things in life, that we as individuals, find personally distasteful that do not directly have any bearing on our own personal existence. The lifestyles of other people is a major one. So, stop already, with the fruitless efforts (no pun intended) to try to stop the tides of time from flowing, and that inevitable change (progression into the future).
Change is not going to hurt the conservative beliefs any more now, than it will in the future. But it will certainly appease (bring to a state of peace, or quiet) much of the pain and suffering of human beings that have just as much right to be on this earth as each one of you "conservatives" do.
Yes, beauty is certainly still only in the eye of the beholder; and sin is certainly still only in the minds of the uneducated.
Keep your baseless beliefs, if you must, but please, make room for others who do not share them. I do not know about the "God" that you adulate, but mine makes NO 'mistakes' that mankind needs to admonish.
PS: If you doubt my census figures, visit USA today.com and view their ticker tape count down for: US Population - Births this year - Deaths this year , or visit US Census.gov to view their ticker tape countdown. By the time you look at these sites, the figures quoted above will have changed dramatically.
Also, as a point of interest, as of today, besides the District of Columbia, there are only 4 (four) states that recognize same sex marriages: Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire and Vermont. All true leaders in equality, justice, compassion and the fortitude to stand against the conservative mentality. The fact that this movement needs to be such a great battle for justice and equality at all, is truly just another American shame.
Try to live in peace and harmony with yourself and with others.

Are People Born Gay? What an absurd question. Apparently there is not enough education, or even logic, on this subject. We are prisoners to the religious fanatics.

Just like the left, attacking and putting people down. And you call the religious factions bigots. I just disagree with you, and you have to be !
rude.
What happened to my last comment? You don't believe in free speech either, it appears. Just like the left, they want to control everything and make everybody do what they want. What happened to freedom and liberty. Oh, yeah the left do not like the constitution and the Bill of Rights.
Keep on hubbing!

The problem conservatives have is the same problem Muslims have: they think they have the right to impose their beliefs upon everyone. Oh wait, liberals believe the same thing. Actually, it is a human condition that the majority always try to impose their beliefs upon the minority. Just take a look at history. In this country we are about equal, so there is always a battle.
The liberals want to take away the rights of Christians, even though most of the immigrants they claim to support are, in fact, Christians. Why are we in this mess? Satan. Turn everyone against everyone, that's the way to win.
Everyone would do well to respect other's rights to live free. What did our founders write? "...life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness." I am a conservative, a real God fearing conservative. No where in my Bible have I found any God given justification to impose my beliefs upon others. If people want to be gay, that is their business, and none of mine. They aren't taking away anything from my rights by being gay. Let them get married, the only lives they will ruin are their own. Most marriages end in divorce anyway.
I'm not afraid to say that anyone who disagrees with me on this is a deceived person and needs to read the Bible instead of listening to prejudiced preachers spewing their intolerance upon the world. No one has the right to make rules that infringe on a person's right to live as they want, provided that they aren't causing problems for anyone else. I agree that gays can be "in your face" obnoxious sometimes, but then, so can just about everyone else.
