Conformity: A Prison For Your Mind. It Is NOT necessary for Survival on a Global Scale.

Conformity -

being obedient and compliant with the prevailing standards, norms, and customs.

It is all about ''survival'' on a Global Scale. .

We live in a self induced stagnant society. Repressed by old ideas and fears.

In order to progress forward we must let go of the chains that bind us to the past. We must take hold of our spirituality, and individuality, and stop insisting that society continue clinging to some hopefulness for the future that is beyond our control. We must shed (or at the very least - modify) the religions that refuse to allow us any individual spiritual growth at all; while simultaneously destroying the tyrants who control all of our other aspects of life.

We all learned early in life that the key to survival was to conform to societal rules or perish.

But is this really what we should be teaching our children? Diversity and acceptance would be a better indoctrinating factor than that of archaic suppressing and superstitious beliefs.

Dangers of non-conformity

This is truly a hostile world filled with cruelty and horror for those who do not conform to the perceived societal "norm" (the standards set by the majority; but more often by the minority that rules the roost).

There is not much room on this planet for anyone who is not part of something bigger than we are as individuals.

"Individuality" and "autonomy" are only catch phrases (words) and only have meaning to the leaders of the packs of the hostile clans that live on planet earth. They serve as ''verbal tools'' for the higher group plan, to give the allusion of being an "independent" agent. You are only allowed this illusion if it serves the best interest of the "leaders" of these packs of human animals.

The person foolish enough to attempt independence, or true autonomy, is soon quashed by the larger animistic entities we call our benefactors. Those who have the real control over our lives, our finances, and our very thoughts.

Even those who appear to have independence, or autonomy, are allowed to maintain this delusional status only as a condition of societal acceptance, as long as it serves yet another group, or sub set of people, who need, (or desires) what ever it is that you have to offer as an independent entrepreneur.

Big animals always eat the smaller ones. As predatory animals, humans are no different except in the 'literal' sense of the larger animals devouring the smaller and weaker, or meeker.

This conformity is evident in ALL aspects of human life regardless of what one "decides" to do for a living. Pick any "occupation" and see it as a "part" of something else; a mere link in a chain. If one link is removed, it will leave a small gap in the entire structure, but the integrity of the fence/wall/facade will be maintained. As any part, of any "occupation", can only exist within the global, or communal society in which it needs to be, in order to survive, so does the individual human being.

Societal controls thru conformity

Commodities: (defined as an economic good, as a product of agriculture, or mining; a mass produced product, or anything that is useful or valued).

These things are easily controlled, manipulated, and corralled to be under the control of a few for personal profit and the power that accompanies that 'control' over the necessities of survival, is easy to understand. Conforming to those restrictions benefit us as individuals but we deny that without them we cannot survive very well on our own.

Psychic control:

Where the 'grayer' areas lie is with the psychic corralling that also takes place in our society. Unlike the corralling and control over commodities that are broken down into separate parts depending on the type of goods, and the severity of the needs for them. They provide an endless list of things that range from the necessities (food and shelter) to the frivolous (pleasure giving) items, that one can certainly live without.

While this economic control by a few can surely cause disastrous consequences as seen all around the world today - the psychic control is the most damaging to all societies around the globe. That being the belief that without the influences of those who are in power there would be nothing but anarchy, lawlessness and chaos. And that in itself may be more true than false. What we are relinquishing to those who control those influences is our right to rescind that control when they take their tasks too far and infringe on our individual liberties.

Religious control:

Is apparent by the constant inane and obviously ludicrous absurdity of the religious movement that has permeated our entire global society to the point of eccentric exaggeration and incongruity among the entire world populace.

While being almost laughable on one hand in its absurdity, it is totally Luciferian on the other hand.

Religions create an atmosphere of doom and gloom that would befall us all if they did not exist. But by their very indoctrination techniques upon the children of our global society they cause us to give up the freedom of thought and the very use of common sense in lieu of superstitious nonsense. Brainwashing children into conformity is never an acceptable alternative to critical or abstract thinking based on logic and empirical evidence.

Taking back our control -

is certainly not an easy task.

The ''commodity control'' can be recaptured by government regulation if we stop viewing it as a necessary evil; rather than a means of returning the power over our lives back to the "real" people and not just leaving it in the hands of a few who are only servile unto themselves.

The ''psychic control'' is not so easily rescinded. It is the most dangerous and damaging to the survival of the global society itself. This "concept" is so ingrained into the minds, hearts and souls of mankind that it must first be recognized as a hostile invasion of the psyche before any remedy (or cure) can begin.

Therein lies the global dilemma that appears to have no solution. Our very own Catch 22 on a global scale. What we "believe to be true", is our greatest captor.

Our fear to face reality is the jail cell we are currently living in. And worst of all the fear of this unknown, unseen, unproven belief is the key that keeps us locked in those intellectual jail cells with no hope of escape to freedom. Or worse, the loss of any desire to escape at all.

When one realizes that the concept of spirituality does not (or should not) a prison make, we can proceed from there. Moreover, unlike organized religions, 'universal spirituality' is actually also the key to freedom for a psyche world of peace and harmony; without the confines of being corralled into conformity by the businesses that call themselves "religions" and the nothingness that they offer to society except for their control over us via unfounded fear, guilt and repression.

C.S. Lewis > Quotes > Quotable Quote

“Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.”

C.S. Lewis

Necessity of Conformity

Conformity may be a necessity for survival - but tyranny is NOT.

Neither in a communal nor psychological sense.

We must remove the "tyrants" from our society - from all aspects of commodity control, psychic control, government control, and religious control over our lives before peace can begin on this earth.

It is NOT one of those things, or another, by themselves. ALL must be addressed simultaneously for mankind to survive, thrive and progress into a brighter, bolder, freer, and more knowledgeable future.

And as the supposed global leader in liberation, this country (the U.S.A.) should be the first to correct these societal 'errors' or barriers to peace, post haste. (But we all know it would not be politically correct for congress to relinquish all controls over our society - there would be nothing left for them to "debate" in their campaigning for political offices)

The best first baby steps of any child are always forward movements - not backwards. And yet, as a society, we keep insisting on trying to walking backwards in stead of taking those first baby steps forward.

We are all just prisoners of the mind.
