BANNED FROM THE BIBLE - Part 2 (The Lost History of Solomon, Lilith and the gospel of Judas)

Misguided beliefs and misguided hatred - Religions need to clean up the mess they have created!!!

The new testament - equally as shocking as the old testament. During the creation of the new testament there was much conflict and blood shed in deciding what was to be embraced or cast out.

There were literally hundreds of letters, epistles, parables, psalms and proverbs written long after the death of Christ.

Gnosticism defined= the thought and practice of various cults of the late pre-christian and early christian centuries distinguished by the conviction that matter is evil and that emancipation comes through gnosis. (esoteric knowledge of spiritual truth held by the ancient gnostics to be essential for salvation) . This knowledge being - designed for, or understood by, the specially initiated alone. "Knowledge" that was restricted to a small group, that Jesus was believed to belong to.

These gnostic groups were a menace to society and had to be destroyed. They were considered dangerous heretics and their "gnostic secrets of the universe" writings were destroyed by the emerging Christian movement as were any one or any thing that was in conflict with their intentions of creating this new Christian philosophy.

There was a tribunal created that would sort through all the writings to select only those that were in line with the intended views they wanted to promote. Creating this bible was essential to the creation of one group that would be victorious in stopping the fragmentation arising A.D. They needed to establish who would be in control of the new religion they wanted to create after the death of Christ.

They pored over all the writings of the time and selected only those that seemed to be in line with their 'intended version' of this new religious order.

Notably, amongst all those writings there were tales of sorcery, witchcraft, demonic possession and exorcisms, recipes for casting spells and conjuring up of demons for evil purposes. (These particular writings were the ones assembled to create the Devil's Bible). Among the most prominent were the "testament of Solomon, the master of demons", and the "testaments of Peter and Simon" (regarding their public displays of who had the greatest power over life and death) both of which i may consider doing as separate articles in the future.

But the most important one that they adamantly rejected was the stories of Thecla and Simon. (Another tale for a future hub). In essence, these two were the perpetrators of the advocacy for celibacy (the total abstention of sexual intercourse). They preached that only the true Christians that practiced total celibacy, would be granted salvation.

This was not an issue that the new Christian order wanted promoted at this time. But it was rapidly embraced by women and they refused to have sexual intercourse with their husbands.

So, the new church banned the notion of celibacy. When they saw that this ban was being ignored by the people, they then enacted it as law. The new law stated that women were to bear children to increase the numbers of their armies, and that man was not to sleep with another man, but instead have sex only with females to ensure the building of their troops.

And thus the origin of the hateful passage in today's bible that the crazies of today use to bash "gay people". Up to this point in history homosexuality was not against any laws of church or government.

As a matter of fact, with the discovery of the Gospel of Judas in the 1970's these writings suggested that Jesus may have indulged in same sex activities himself. (another future hub).

The bible was compiled by men, with not so altruistic intentions after all. And after they decided which writings to use in their new "bible", they found that there were still holes, or gaps, in those stories. So, they invented, or made up, scenarios that were appropriate for the times, to have an acceptable confluency to those stories.

After they were smugly satisfied with their creation, they declared the book as 'holy testimony by God' and made a religious law that these writings were to be accepted as truth and never to be altered.. although, that statement, in and of itself, turned out to be broken by the very people who made that law, when they re-wrote several passages after that to more closely reflect the times.

And that, my friends, is the God's honest truth. And the sad fact that this is what some people want our government and our lives to be judged by. That in itself is a crime against humanity.

PS. You can kick and scream and deny this truth all you want, but this is historical fact. What you believe in is your choice. I for one never have believed in fairy tales.
